to sponsor the Annual Cobi-A-Thon Fun-A-Ment
WHAT: A Cobia Fun Tournament between the FSFA and CFOA fishing clubs
WHEN: Saturday, March 1st.
If ocean or weather conditions are not conducive to "Sight fishing for Cobia"
the event will be rescheduled for the following Saturday. In the event that each
Saturday up till March 31st is unfishable, the tournament will be cancelled.
ENTRY FEE: None; however, there must be at least one club member on each
participating vessel.
FORMAT: Largest Cobia (heaviest by weight) wins the grand Prize Package.
A tie will be decided by a coin toss.
Tournament Channel Participants, please monitor VHS channel 72.
CLUB LIABILITY: None. Each angler is fishing at their own risk. Cape
Marina, FSFA and CFOA club is accepting no money and no liability during this
fun event.
PRIZES: A very nice Prize Package, including a rod & reel combo,
traveling trophy and BRAGGING RIGHTS, will be awarded to the club member/ vessel
/ team who wins the event! The trophy will bear the Vessel /Team Name and their
respective club's name.
An engraved trophy by Costello Studios will remain with the winning club until the next Inter Club Tournament Event!

CHECK OUT/CHECK IN, CAPTAIN'S MEETINGS, BOUNDRIES: None
DISPUTES: None will be acknowledged. Any controversy will be resolved by
the applicable club tournament coordinators listed below.
WEIGH MASTER: Steve Collins
WEIGH IN: 4:00 PM - 4:30 PM @ CAPE MARINA, Port Canaveral (you may arrive
by land or sea)
AWARDS CEREMONY & SOCIAL GATHERING: Immediately following the Weigh In at
Cape Marina, under the main pavilion. BYOB and snacks, donated fish will be
cooked by any available volunteers. The clubs will offer complimentary drinks
and family foods. Club members and family members are encouraged to attend even
if they are not fishing the event.
REGISTRATION: Will be kept unofficial, members may receive Tournament
info through their respective Club Coordinators.
Go / No Go decision will be made by 4pm Friday by the respective club
coordinators:
BOTTOM LINE: This is a fun-tournament, based on the "Honor System".
